Bulk Items in the Alleys

Hello Randolph Neighbors,

I finished driving through all the Randolph alleys today using SeeClickFix to report bulk items. I’m happy to report that the alleys didn’t look that bad! It’s important to use one of the following methods to report bulk items:

The general time frame for having items picked up is 4-6 six weeks. Yes, you read that correctly. If you have renters living next door to you, please go knock on their door to make sure they are aware of what they need to do. They can also call local thrift stores like Diversity Thrift for furniture donation.

Thank you,
Amy

Youth Excel & Advancement Open House – June 22nd 6:30pm

The old Boys & Girls Club was purchased by Youth Excel & Advancement. They will be opening their doors to the neighborhood on Wednesday, June 22nd at 6:30pm. They will provide a tour of the renovations, explain their current youth program, and what they may transition to in near future. They are interested in hearing the neighborhood’s opinion of what they do with their property.

VCU has also placed some dumpster in the area. Sadly, not in Randolph but close by. https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/viewer?mid=1cfHILOJP9ERdl-uduot1OSdnVE0

National Night Out Planning Meeting

On Monday, June 6th the National Night Out (NNO) Planning Committee will be meeting at 6:30pm at the Randolph Community Center. Randolph is in need of more volunteers for this event. Please come out and see how you can help.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live. It takes place the first Tuesday of every August. This year that lays on August 2nd.
