If helping out with the planting of two new trees at Thomas Square on Saturday 10/4 wasn’t enough (in addition to the continual watering of new trees that were planted in Petronius S. Jones this past spring), the Richmond Tree Stewards took on another “small” project and trimmed the tree canopies at the southern half of Thomas Square this past weekend. A couple before and after pictures (although many more were of the maples were pruned) can be found below:
