Those of you that travel southbound down Meadow have noticed the road closure at Lakeview. The Department of Public Works (DPW) responded to a water distribution problem back on February 17th that turned out to be larger than expected. The snow storms have held up the repairs. If the weather cooperates, DPW believes that repairs should be completed and the road reopened in the next two weeks.
Please be sure to follow the detour signs placed out today and do not drive into oncoming traffic.
