Randolph 5th District Cleanup #RVA

We’re hoping for clear weather this Saturday, May 21st for Parker Agelasto’s Randolph/Oregon Hill 5th District Cleanup!

Activities:

• Alley Cleanup with city trucks
• Street cleanup
• Storm Drain Marking
• Straightening up the medians (scrapping away weeds, cutting grass, and pruning trees)
• Thomas Square, if we have enough volunteers. In the meantime, everyone call 311 today, tomorrow, and the next day to report it. DPW said at the last 5th District Meeting the “Squeaky wheel gets the grease”.

Needs:

• Volunteers! Volunteers! Volunteers! Please come out and bring a friend (or two)!
• Lawn mowers and weed whackers
• Someone to map bulk trash in the alleys BEFORE Saturday (Email randolphrva@gmail.com if you can drive the alleyways to note large bulk items on SeeClickFix. This will help us go further and faster!)
• All other supplies will be provided.

We will be meeting outside of the Randolph Community Center (1415 Grayland Ave) at 9am. What we can accomplish is based on the number of volunteers that show up. Please come out and support Randolph.
