You can save food scraps from the landfill

Did you know Randolph has a site for Food Scraps Drop-Off? In Petronius S. Jones Park, near the Randolph Pool (1507 Grayland Ave) – you can drop off your food scraps for composting, year round, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Thanks to Sustainable RVA Zero Waste Initiative and Chip and Marshall Hall at Natural Organic Processing Enterprise (NOPE), cans are available for Food Scraps drop-off year round, 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week.  You can email  questions or a request to be added as a Compost Program participant to SRVAZWI@gmail.com.
