Storefront for Community Design seeks public input on Byrd Park improvements

Good Morning,

My name is Ryan Rinn and I work at Storefront for Community Design.  I’m reaching out to you as someone who has interest in William Byrd Park.  The following 30 question survey asks for your opinions on Byrd Park – it takes about 10 minutes to complete.  The Friends of William Byrd Park and Storefront ​need your feedback to learn what park users enjoy, and assist in prioritizing potential future improvements. This survey will be open from June 22, 2015 – September 1, 2015 at 5pm EST.  All users of the park, regardless of geographic location, are invited and encouraged to fill out this survey and share it with their friends.

When referring to Byrd Park we mean the whole park including: Dogwood Dell, the Carillon, the trails behind the Carillon down to Pump House Drive, the children’s playground,​ the three lakes (Fountain/Boat, Swan & Shields), the VITA course, the tennis courts, the baseball/softball fields, Barker Field, the Roundhouse, the Landing, the Shields Lake shelter and picnic area, and all of the open green space in between.
